Young people are an important part of life at the Buckland Churches. Please note:

BAPTISM (CHRISTENINGS): Baptism is encouraged for all ages and usually takes place at 12 noon on the fourth Sunday of the month. To find out more, please use the link below to contact Fr Tim. More about Baptism CLICK

PARISH MASS: At 10.30am Parish Mass, children of primary school age go into the vestry for part of the service for their own activities, except for the last Sunday of the month when young people take a leading part in YOUTH MASS, attended by uniformed organisations.

SERVING TEAM: Many young people choose to join the serving team and thus provide valuable contributions to our worship.

CONFIRMATION: People of all ages request to be confirmed by the Bishop. To find out more please speak to Fr Tim.

ANDY'S: This is the name of the young people at St Andrew's. They get up up to all sorts of things! Take a look at the pictures below.

SCHOOLS: Fr Tim has links with many local schools, going in to take assemblies and supervising visits to both churches, often with topics linked to the National Curriculum. He would be pleased to hear from teachers.
